What is Unity?
Unity is for everyone. Whether you are religious, atheist, agnostic, or spiritual but not religious, you are welcome here. Therefore, Unity is for people who recognize their own inner Truth. They seek to celebrate all paths towards a higher power.

Our Philosophy
Unity brings together ancient wisdom teachings and modern inspirational thought. We reframe what it is to find meaning and purpose in life. So, we invite different ways of thinking about love and intelligence. This is the driving force within the world.

What We Do
We promote the use of spiritual and scientifically supported practices, such as affirmative prayer, meditation, community outreach, singing and chanting, artistic expression, small groups, and so mush more. We are here for community and friendships.

We do not tell you what to believe; we teach you how to thrive. We do not give you dogmatic answers; we explore the questions with you. We do not label you; we accept you as you are. We do not indoctrinate you; we teach you to love yourself.

Prayer Support
At Unity of Tacoma, we have been providing affirmative prayer support for people just like you, from all over the Puget Sound area, for over 70 years. Whether you are looking for someone to pray with you or to have someone to pray for you, we can help.
Meditation Support
We offer meditation support during Sunday messages and on videos you can watch on our YouTube channel.
What Are People Saying?
This is a community who loves folks without judgement. They treat all with respect and dignity. They walk the talk and live what they believe, yet they listen to what you have to say. When I go to their gatherings, even if I missed a few Sundays, I feel like I matter.
Where to Find Us
Unity of Tacoma is located in the Surge South Tacoma building. There is plenty of free parking behind the building and the main entrance is right on the corner of South 54th and South Tacoma Way. You will be greeted by a friendly volunteer and they will show you where the coffee is and show you where to sit. We always have live music and plenty of inspiration.
