World Day of Prayer Taizé Service

September 8th at 6:30 PM

Join us, and other Unity churches from around the world, as we observe Unity’s 28th annual World Day of Prayer! This year’s theme is All is Well in My Soul. The affirmation for this event is:

No matter the circumstances, all is well with my soul.

We will be celebrating by holding a Taizé service. A Taizé service (pronounced Tai·zé) is based on a prayer service involving candle-lighting, chanting, readings, prayer, and music. This prayer format originated from the Taizé Community, which is an ecumenical Christian monastic fraternity in Taizé, Saône-et-Loire, Burgundy, France. This worship service has been shared with many cultures in several different languages and invites all people to worship God.

Music, Meditation, and Prayer

Becky Thatcher and Matt Corey will be guiding the service with their wonderful music, which will be accompanied by readings, inspiration, and affirmative prayer. This event will be live-streamed from our website and YouTube channel.

We hope you will be able to join us for this wonderful time of music and prayer.

In love and light…

Rev. Lori
